Leave Nothing to Chance
Whatever their level or discipline, successful riders leave nothing to chance by paying attention to every aspect of their own and their horse’s performance, including nutrition. Baileys Performance Balancer can help you achieve optimum performance nutrition because:
It’s Cost Effective |
It Helps Keep the Balance |
While it’s quite right to look to nutrition if your horse is unenthusiastic about work, lacks stamina or top line or has poor hooves, before you reach for a supplement, the logical, and most cost effective, first step is to look at your horse’s base diet. Ensuring this is fully balanced, and supplying all the nutrients your horse needs, can be the simple solution to a host of “problems”.
Performance Balancer can help you achieve this by supplying a complete range of essential nutrients; nutrients you’ll find in a host of “supplements” but which have been carefully combined in Performance Balancer to support performance, good health and well-being, thereby addressing, and ultimately avoiding, common nutrition-related problems, without the need for expensive supplementation. |
We’ve analysed a lot of forage and pasture over the past few years and it’s increasingly evident that there’s a decline in the natural occurrence of key vitamins and minerals. Choosing a good quality compound feed, formulated for the job, and feeding it at recommended levels, alongside, forage is the easiest way to ensure your horse gets all he needs.
When you can’t feed a mix or a cube to recommended levels though, your horse will miss out on essential nutrients, like quality protein as well as vitamins and minerals, all of which are critical to well-being and performance. Likewise, a “low energy” feed will not supply sufficient levels of these nutrients to a horse in harder work so topping up the diet with Performance Balancer helps you return nutrient levels to a point where your horse is getting everything he needs. |
It’s Flexible
|
It is of Outstanding Quality
|
Even some top performers can be classed as “good-doers” and may get all the energy they need from forage but will still need the support of essential nutrients. Performance Balancer can be fed as the sole concentrate, to supply these nutrients without the calories associated with a competition mix or cube. If you still feed some, but not the full amount of compound feed, Performance Balancer will top up the nutrient levels. It’s also ideal fed with straights, like oats, to provide the nutrients which are lacking in cereals and forage alone.
Indeed Performance Balancer gives you the flexibility to keep your horse’s diet fully balanced at all times. If you need to reduce the amount of hard feed you give, you simply add extra balancer and, when you increase the compound feed again, you can cut back the balancer. (see Feeding Guidelines) |
At Baileys, we never compromise with our formulations and are renowned for the quality and consistency of our horse feeds so Performance Balancer is no different. We wouldn’t put our name on it, if we didn’t trust Performance Balancer to live up to our reputation, yet we’ve managed to price it sensibly so more riders can see a way to provide their horse with optimum performance nutrition.
